About the Author

Joe Burke

​I was born in Brooklyn NY, and through subsequent moves spent the majority of my formative years in New Rochelle, NY (Westchester County).

I attended the Philadelphia Textile Institute in Germantown, PA and have always been an avid reader. I was first introduced to the joy of writing, and encouraged to pursue it, by my college English Professor.   Subsequently I wrote for my college newspaper, and later in business prepared advertising copy for local and national printed media.  I spent the past twenty-four years as a self-employed real estate appraiser. I am married and live with my wife in southeastern North Carolina.

I enjoy cooking, baking and woodworking. I would like to begin fishing, again. I center my writing on the Suspense/Thriller genre.
